The mission of the Competence Center for e-Learning is world-class research on technology-enhanced learning and instruction. We apply what we know and learn in collaboration with psychologists, education practitioners, business and government enterprises and non-profit organizations to the assistance and improvement of life-long learning, learning at the workplace, in schools and at universities.
Our research applies and develops intelligent techniques for technology-enhanced learning, web-based learning, mobile learning, collaborative learning, e-Portfolio, assisted problem solving, authoring tools, e-science, and web-search.
We design and implement architectures, components and prototypes for a variety of applications and we create multi-modal learning applications and interfaces.
We provide consulting on the potential and ramifications of modern AI- and e-Learning technologies, on the selection of technologies and products and on design and authoring of effective instruction.
We support organisation, development and distribution of e-Learning content integrated into progressive learning processes.
We introduce organisations into innovative learning environments, intelligent Learning Management Systems (LMS) and authoring tools.
